Why not make your taste of Lijiang a TASTIER one?

Andre, guest from Singapore expresses his much-abundant love for Lijiang.

Here we proudly present Andre’s amusingly lush and flattering review of his stay at Panba. While it possibly could, to some, sound a little odd initially, it is easy to understand why it is written the way it is written, especially after you take a good look at his gloriously ecstatic expression. And what a beautifully-written review it is.

the hotel california – in a positive sense, of course”

panba guesthouse could very well been on don henley’s mind when he penned his lengendary song, hotel california. ‘you can check-in, but you can never leave’ – this of course, stems solely from the reason that the quaint little slice of heaven is the best thing that ever happened to lijiang!

this place is truly ground zero as a melting pot for people of all nationalities. the night doesn’t conclude unless everyone’s stories have been exchanged, meals shared, drink bottles emptied and till exhaustion sets in. my friend and i have never added so many new people on facebook within a day.

the staff attend to your every whim and fancy and even go out of the way to make sure your trip to lijiang cements itself as the highlight of your vacation. expect to see spanking new facilities and facades come early 2011, as they’re currently in the midst of souping it up for a more pleasant stay.
